Happy Saturday friends!!!

I am super excited about this post as it is my FIRST EVER local shop post! I am a huge advocate of eating, shopping, and all things local! Honestly, what is better than finding an amazing spot in your own community?

The shop I am raving about today: So Chic Boutique! This adorable boutique has locations in both Peoria Heights and Morton, IL. (And yes, both are equally as fabulous)

From the overall aesthetic to the products they carry, this boutique is a little slice of heaven. You walk in and are surrounded by candles, stationary, mugs, jewelry, kitchen accessories, party supplies, and gifts that go on and on. If you are hosting a get together, you can find the cutest party accessories here! On top killer party items, this is a go-to shop for gift giving because it has something in it for absolutely everyone! Gifts for mom, sis, grandma, a new baby, dad, grandpa, best friend… you name it. So Chic carries brands like Kate Spade, Rifle Paper Co, Vera Bradley, and more!

Some of my favorite purchases from So Chic include a Kate Spade tumblr, Rifle Paper Co. recipe box, Rifle Paper Co. planner (side note: they just got in a TON of adorable planners for the new school/work year!), Capri Blue candle… I am realizing that I could make this list go on forever, so you get the point…

In the back of both stores, there is also a party room that you can rent out to host events & parties! I couldn’t think of a cuter location for a shower or birthday party.

So Chic Boutique is a sister business to So Chic Events, a wedding and event planning business. The owner of So Chic, Sara O’Shea, wants nothing more than to make life’s celebrations special and the events thrown by So Chic are undoubtedly moments that will always be remembered. If you have something to celebrate, let So Chic help turn it into an incredible event!

The last thing that I want to rave about is the staff at So Chic Boutique. Each time I walk in I am greeted by smiling, beautiful faces! Every single staff member is so kind and eager to help their customers with whatever they need. Seeing their passion for So Chic is evident when they work and makes going in so much more special.
