in His hands

I think we have all had moments in life where we feel that we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Whether our misfortune is stemming from work, school, financials, or relationships, we’ve all been there. It can be hard to come out of these funks in life, but I know there is always one thing that keeps me looking ahead… Jesus.

I always remember one quote from 1 John 4:4 when I feel that life is dragging me down. It goes, “The Lord is greater than the giants you face”. You’ve probably heard it before, but have you really ever thought about the meaning behind it?

It’s easy to feel like your latest dilemma is engulfing your life, we are all guilty of feeling that way! Next time you find yourself in this situation, take a step back and truly trust that God is in control. Although it may not be clear just why He might have placed the dilemma into your life, try to see what God is trying to teach you through it.

The burdens that we face are tests. They can be aspects testing things such as our patience, what are priorities are in life, our trust, but mainly testing our reliance on Christ. How to pass this test? Pray and have faith. Pray that God helps you through your situation and remember that He put the circumstance into your life for a reason. We don’t always know this reason, but we must remember that sometimes we aren’t going to get the answer we want or an answer that is easy to face.

We shouldn’t only remember these things when life has gotten the best of us, but when we are dealing with exciting or positive circumstances as well! God puts tests in our lives, but he also gives us rewards. At these moments it is important to give thanks!

No matter what you are facing, know that you are not alone. Jesus has put the situation in your life & Jesus will help you through it! Talk to Him, thank Him, trust in Him. It is all in His hands!

Xoxo,

Ashley
