Granola is an absolute staple for me! I will eat granola on just about anything & hardly go a day without eating some. There is only one problem with granola… the PRICE.
My favorite store bought brand of granola is Purely Elizabeth! I am in love with all of her products, honestly. But when using granola everyday, it isn’t ideal to be spending $5, $6, or even $7 on a small bag of granola. While I sometimes treat myself to this expensive, crunchy goodness, I decided try to make my own granola for normal use!
The recipe I use for granola is simple, the way it should be for granola! Many brands load their granola with unnecessary sugar and oils, defeating the point of using granola as a healthy snack staple. I love homemade granola for the fact that I know exactly what I’m putting into it!
I hope you enjoy this easy, healthy, & yummy recipe!

Ingredients:
¼ cup pure maple syrup
3 TBSP coconut oil (melted)
2 TBSP honey
1 ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
¼ tsp sea salt
2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
Optional: Nuts or seeds!
Instructions:
1.Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
2.Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
3.In bowl, whisk together your syrup, coconut oil, honey, vanilla, and sea salt.
4.Stir in oats!
5.Pour granola evenly over baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6.Bake for 20 minutes! Can add an additional 10-15 minutes for extra crunch!
7.Allow granola to cool & enjoy!! (Store in mason jars for extra cuteness)
This granola recipe is so easy to make, making it favorable for a recipe that I am constantly whipping up in the kitchen!
To keep it interesting… try experimenting with other optional ingredients such as nuts, seeds, chocolate chips, dried berries, etc!
ENJOY!!!
Xoxo,
Ashley
