Coffee: survival juice

If you know me, you know that I am ALL about my coffee in the morning… in the evening… pretty much all times of the day ;)
The only flaw with coffee is the unnecessary calories and sugar that can come along with it! Some of the drinks I used to order had up to 400 calories and I didn’t even know it! So, today I am sharing some of the hacks and orders that I use to create a “healthier” drink when getting coffee at Starbucks & other coffee shops.
For these orders, I’ll be focusing on options that you can order at Starbucks! But you can change up the lingo to order similar drinks at different coffee shops :)
Flavored Iced Coffee:
-Iced coffee with a splash of nonfat/soy/almond milk
-Unsweetened
-Two pumps of favorite syrup (Team toffee nut for me!!)
Grande Calories: 65 (using nonfat milk)
Sweet Cream Cold Brew:
-Order a sweet cream cold brew
-2 pumps vanilla instead of 4
Grande Calories: 70
Sweat Cream Nitro:
Only 70 calories as is and super delicious!!!
Cappuccino:
-Nonfat milk
Grande Calories: 80
(Add two pumps syrup: 120 calories)
Flavored Coffee:
-Regular coffee with a splash of nonfat/soy/almond milk
-Two pumps of favorite syrup
Grande Calories: 45 (using nonfat milk)
Caramel Macchiato Cheat:
-Iced coffee with a splash of nonfat/soy/almond milk
-Unsweetened
-Two pumps vanilla
-Caramel drizzle
Calories:80 (using nonfat milk)
Personally, I don’t like the taste of the sugar free syrups that some coffee shops offer. So those are always options too! It may be in my head, but I find the taste to be a bit off.
There you have it! Some coffee options that still taste amazing, but save ya some extra calories for the day! (Or it’s just a good excuse to order that yummy cake pop too)
